New Sermon Series - "Against All Odds"

This Week: "The Cost of Freedom!"

Welcome Web-Traveler

Pastor Paul Flannery

We recognize that technology drives us crazy at times – especially when our automatic spell checker corrects a word we intentionally mis-s[pelled or when Big Brother plants some unwanted “Automatic Updates” to our overstuffed memory chips & the computer automatically shuts down in the middle of a project. However, we hope that your visit to our site brings a SMILE to your face while providing all the info for which you are searching.

We are a relatively young non-denominational church, begun on March 4, 2006. Guests often say that they are surprised by the friendliness of our church. Now I realize that can be bad when an errant member smiles too much and then smothers someone new. That happened once back in the summer of 62 and the skeleton was only recently found in a back storage closet among crunched silk flowers and old church bulletins with a picture of a Bible and white lilies on the cover. But seriously, I think we have found a balance between being sincerely friendly without smothering and harassing our guests.

I know that many people gravitate to larger impersonal churches mainly because they are tired of burnout caused by hyper church busyness. This is a sickness caused by churches which desperately need more workers for kid’s ministries, men’s & women’s ministries, worship ministries, committees, and even to pump the church organ – oh that’s right, since the bellows blew out, we don’t use ours anymore.

At Hope Fellowship Church you serve as you feel led and according to the gifts and passions God has planted in you. Serve at your own tempo, and not according to guilt motivation. We do take God, his Word, and worship seriously, though we do it all with lots of fun!

We strongly urge ministry to the “have not’s” beyond the walls of church land. Our Sunday services offer blended hope filled music, and relevant sermons. Most members of our worship team & band are well known musicians throughout Denver.

One final note – we feel strongly that believers worship through giving back to the Lord. At Hope Fellowship Church we believe in a five plus five concept of giving. We only ask for 5% of a person’s offering to our church with the other 5% given directly to the missionary or ministry of your choosing and passion.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday. We won’t smother you but we may smile! Enjoy the rest of your visit to our site.

Warmly,

Paul Flannery,

Lead Pastor
